Keitä me olemme

Vuoden 2012 lopulla perustetun Diversitas Oy:n nimi kuvaa perustaja Sari Ajankon erikoistumisaluetta valmentajana: monimuotoisuutta, diversiteettiä.

Jo ennen Diversitas Oy:n perustamista Sari toimi sivutoimisesti johdon työnohjaajana.

Jim on tuonut yritykseen valtavasti osaamista mm.

Lähes 90% asiakkaistani on elämänvaiheessa, jossa he miettivät, ovatko oikeassa paikassa ja elävätkö itsensä näköistä elämää.

Sari on saanut ICF:n (International Coaching Federation) PCC-sertifioinnin vuonna 2012 yhdeksäntenä Suomessa.

Jo ennen coaching-uraansa Sari on valmistunut johdon työnohjaajaksi (Certified Supervisor/Mentor of Leaders and Executives CSLE). Lisäksi Sari on sertifioitu Enneagrammiohjaaja (Certified Enneagram Teacher in the Narrative Tradition), NLP-kouluttaja (Certified NLP Trainer, Kehotietoisuuskouluttaja (Certified WholeBody Focusing Trainer) ja Quantum Leadership Master Trainer.

His professional coaching niche and center of interest is working with clients seeking to mature their executive leadership and professional development skills. Clients are supported in their development by drawing on 24 years of executive management experience and as a skilled advisor in using and applying proven leadership assessment methods and management skills.

It’s essential for me to keenly understand each client. What makes them tick, and why do they think, behave and do what they do? I start fresh with a single question: ”What’s it like to be you in the world, inside of you with all your thoughts, feelings, needs, desires, and instincts?” Answering this question summons a worldview, perspectives of a world seen through their eyes.

Every thought you have holds within itself, potential. Each idea is an act at its initial stage. A central concept of an action, releases, triggers, and gives life to something waiting to create. My focus is on awakening people to their unlimited potential and possibilities. To be inspired by the gifts they already have is a catalyst. The game-changer is how to leverage these capacities and grow with what they can offer in service. The price you pay is realizing, accepting, and stepping totally into leadership roles and responsibilities.

I prefer to describe myself as a Guide and Map-Maker more than as a coach. Why? Because I inspire and support people resonating with realizing a life’s purpose. I work at my optimum with the ones bravely reaching for answers to life’s burning questions in the middle of a busy career life or when facing significant changes. The answers are as different as our DNA is for each of us: ”Who Am I?” ”Why Am I here?” ”How do I fulfill my life purpose”? ”What is the music I need to share in the world?”

Drawing each map starts with a big question, ”Why?” What are the client’s purpose and reasons for making the choices and decisions they select and how do they go about meaning-making? How does their systematic approach and decision making process function in response to life? And finally, what are the outcomes, the assessable proof they will see when they are successful?

It is crucial to offer clients ”the choice” options of deciding the direction that seems most relevant for them. This approach invariably awakens curiosity and enthusiasm. Listening to clients share what’s happening inside them, I often hear a particular voice of theirs. A question arises – ”What voice?” Their internal dialogue, de-railer voices that betray habitual thoughts and patterns constructed around limiting belief systems: an active inner critic, self-criticism, self-doubt, self-deprecation, fear, anger, denial, procrastination or some mix of them.

To get to know themselves better, I sometimes offer participating in creating their B-movie of a life lived until now. They are the actors or actresses in their various roles and the director of the acting. Their tasks are gaining perspectives observing what’s happening or have happened at multiple life-cross-roads.

Together we construct a living-map foundation based on seven-year increments of exploring positive and negative key life events. Those ”forks-in-the-road” where they changed direction, stopped, and or started again. In some more rare circumstances, they’re stuck and have given up hope. A sense of exploration, creative imagination, and play is most valuable, often producing surprising insights into what has been holding them back.

Knowing yourself implies being aware of and conscious of what’s inside. What kinds of energies seem dominant, and what dominant somatic body centre are they accessing? What parts of themselves seem to hold and cause the stress, anxiety, and distress evidenced by their behaviours? I refer clients to four centres of intelligence: head, heart, gut, and intuitive self. We all have them; some are favoured and frequently accessed over others that are dismissed or not trusted. I also help guide them towards their instinctual biases.

The apogee of my leadership capabilities highlight contribution, persistence, inclusiveness, and a commitment to each life role. I frequently get feedback for being insightful and asking thought-provoking questions. As a coach, I am a resistance breaker for change. My approach can be called ’no-nonsense’ in a warm and caring way. I help clients find answers to anxious feelings and doubts about unsettling questions waking them up at three am.

I am at my best when clients bring their whole ”unplugged” self to the coaching process. People committed to their personal development, transformation, and being the best version of themselves. Common for every client session is first creating the container that establishes connection. This inspires trust and is the invitation to build rapport and relationship.

As a leader, my key take-away is what I’ve learned from people who have allowed me to occupy the ’corner office’; they are the ones who permit me to be there. It’s honestly not about me; it’s about all of us! My journey to becoming a coach has been transformational, as though committing to a double masters program, beginning a lifetime process, that never ends.”

Jim is certified to use the following assessments:

  • Global Leadership Profile
  • Personal Resilience Profile
  • Spiritual Intelligence (SQ)
